It's been TEN YEARS since my baby brother, best friend, and closest confidante has passed. TEN YEARS from yesterday, March 28. Brett Ryan Moore died with dignity on the morning of March 28, 1999, at Children's Hospital of Orange County. He was surrounded by family and friends, who loved him from birth til the present, and miss him each day since his passing. He was 17 years old. My brother was and will always be my hero everyday of my life. He single-handedly reminds me of why things in life are never as bad as people make them out to be. He always reminds me that in spite of any obstacle, there's always something amazing on the other side, and when I miss him most, he sings me to sleep every night when I dream of him. I miss him so much, I don't think I can explain it. I am mostly happy that God granted me so many years with such a special, seat-of-his-pants spitfire comedian, philosophic beyond his years, adored baby brother.
